How to Make a Homemade Coin Sorter

You may not realize that you have some coins which can be worth up to $90 in your house. It can possibly happen because you have no time to sort and count them. This kind of activity can be very time-consuming.

If you find any coins in your house, you can collect them. If you have bunch of coins, you can sort and count them by using a sorting machine. It is one of the things you can buy for helping you collect them easily. However, there are a lot of options of this kind of machine which are available for you. Instead of buying it, you can also make it by yourself. The following are some ways you can do. As the material, you can use any material in the household such as shoe boxes.

You can make a simple coin sorter by using the shoe boxes. Make holes in the bottom of them so that when you shake the boxes, the coins will fall down through the proper hole. For the first box, you can draw a hole with the diameter of 7/8 inch. In the second box, draw a hole with the Diameter of ¾ inch. For the third box, you can drag the hole with a diameter of 11/16 inches.

If you have already pulled the hole for each of the boxes, you can cut with a knife. Now your box is ready for use. To order the coins, you can start from the smallest hole. Put your coins in the box and shake so that the small size currency will fall through it. You get more coins in the box. Then move all the coins, the second box with the larger size remained.Coins with larger size will remain in the box. You can do it from one box to another one until all your coins are sorted.
